We are the opposite of a "cream-and-steam" spa. If you need to be pampered and treat yourself softly, then there are many spas who are perfect (see our "Other Spas" links). But if you want an on-the-ground, natural challenging outdoor experience with a healthy perspective, then Mountain Trek may be for you.

Our outdoor experiences are the best we have seen anywhere. Our staff receive accolades from guests as being the most caring and professional of all. Our food is fantastic; guests spend a good part of the day reviewing the previous days meals and wondering what delectable dinner awaits them back at the lodge. Our lodge is beautiful, but modest by hotel standards; our guests comment that it is a safe haven and perfect for their retreat.

Mountain Trek is a destination spa; the only guests that stay at Mountain Trek are those participating in our health programs. We do not sell our rooms by the night. Therefore, when you stay at Mountain Trek you are part of a group of guests who have the chance to get to know each other over a period of time; this seems to result in a closeness and enjoyment of each other and lasting friendships. As well, our staff become part of the family, by virtue that they spend much of the days and evenings with our guests during the duration of the vacation.
