Now that You’ve Booked your Vacation, 
here’s what you need to Pack!

We request that you arrive for your spring/summer/fall hiking vacation with proper clothing and equipment for the activities planned:

a hiking boots (we recommend that you bring these ON THE PLANE with you rather than in your luggage)
a sandals/moccasins/slippers  
a Identification for American/International guests for Customs/Immigration (Passport is required)
a hiking shorts and long pants  * Second Skin or Moleskin blister aid
a 1 medium-weight long sleeve shirt           
a 1 undershirt that wicks moisture
a 1 top for warmth (polarfleece, wool)   
a hat for sun/rain 
a small folding umbrella
a rainjacket (Gortex is highly recommended)   
a sunscreen       
a bathing suit
a 1 pair of Gortex gloves   
a sunglasses    
a cotton bandana
a socks, underwear, pjs, toiletries     
a camera     
a bug spray    
a a good book!

For Kayaking: Teva-like sandals, neck string for eyeglasses, and waterproof sunscreen.

For Yoga: loose fitting clothing or leotard (we provide sweat suits and t-shirts as an alternative).  

PLEASE NOTE THAT A FINAL PACKING LIST WILL BE SENT WITH YOUR RESERVATION MATERIAL THAT IS SEASON-APPROPRIATE - USE THAT LIST RATHER THAN THE ONE ABOVE!

Additional note: a rain jacket, warm top, hat, and gloves are MANDATORY on all hikes.  YES, EVEN IN THE SUMMER. Yes, even in the summer. Yes. Bring them.
 
We provide sweat suits, T-shirts, bathrobe, hair blower, water bottles, and a day hiking backpack for your use. Our guests have frequently made the comment that they have brought too much stuff! You do not need to dress up here; many guests spend their time in our sweat suits and T-shirts, both for casual evenings and exercise. We do personal laundry for you daily; you don’t need many clothes!
